Sharing violation erro while saving excel file on Windows 7
Most probably the search service is locking the file when you are trying to save.
I've faced this issue and seems like the below fix has solved it.
1. Go to the folder where the file resides. If the file is on your desktop, it is preferred that you move it to some other directory in your drive.
2. Right click on the folder and select properties -> Click Advanced button and deselect For fast searching , Allow indexing service to index this file.
